pt-consultants was established in 1982 in Bad Homburg as a
private enterprise. The original company consisted of architects,
engineers and planners for city and transportation planning,
regional development and master planning for large public and
industrial infrastructure in Germany and abroad.
Outstanding projects like Diplomatic City of Saudi Arabia and it’s
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Staff Housing City Quarter (turnkey) or
the Development Planning of the City of Taif and the region of
the Highlands of Azeer as well as Master Planning for the
University City of Al Ain (UAE) were early challenges.
Great Cities like Frankfurt and Hannover or Jena drew upon p+t
consultants for large scale development projects as well as
Institutions like Frankfurt International Airport, Frankfurt
International Fair or wellknown international industrial clients like
Dupont de Nemour, Dow Chemical or Fresenius relied on p+t
consultants’ multidisciplinary complex knowledge.
In the nineties the cooperation with the Institute of Regional and
Urban Development at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences
extended pt consultants’ experience of interdisciplinary project
approaches and know-how transfer to overseas was started. The
ties with China were strengthened and overseas branches were
established.
